MEDIA RELEASE: New dates announced for Vision Scotland 2021

For Release 18:00
24 February 2021

In December 2020 Screen Facilities Scotland (SFS) officially launched Vision Scotland, a dedicated screen and media production industry exhibition and trade event showcasing Scotland’s creative production, services, facilities, and skilled professionals to the global industry, originally scheduled for 6 & 7 May 2021

Further to the political announcements from both the Uk and Scottish Governments earlier this week, further delaying a full return to work for many of our industry partners and colleagues involved in the management and presentation of the event, we have consulted with the exhibitors already in place, the members of our working group and our team of Directors and decided to move the event dates back to 9th & 10th September.

Vision Scotland now takes place over two days on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 September 2021. It remains a digital only event taking place online and the majority of the event content (less the interactive live-streamed elements) shall be available online and accessible to registered visitors for six months after the live event.

Vision Scotland’s first full physical and live event will take place next year…..dates/venue to be confirmed in due course.

The event is aimed at all screen and media production professionals in all specialisms and locations. Registration is free for industry professionals to attend and there is also an allocation of tickets for students of screen and media production art and skill subjects. Registration has been officially open from Tuesday 15 December 2020.
